I have to tell you, it’s not been easy.
Everything is done, no more college and ample time on my hands. However everything seems to not want to work. I don’t know, I’m kinda muddling my way through.
Then, I’ll get frustrated with the disorganised mess, so I’ll wipe it all away and start again, until I finally learn what it is I am doing.

In either case, I am playing with WordPress MU for NetDev Training, so I can have one installation for the public site and the private site.

But that is not all… with (volunteer) work, there is a lot to do. Sometimes things work, sometimes it doesn’t. In the long run, it usually means a quick job goes on for ages since I cannot actually work on it when I want to. Also, I get kinda bored there, and I cannot do my own things since I am not at my own PC (though I cannot work on my own PC at home). Peculiar.

Still, got loads of time to do something. Hopefully if I can get it sorted I can actually do some proper work.

Just a quick update for June.

I’m going to be focusing on the last ounces of course work that needs to be done in the next three weeks. From then, I have to really buckle down and get some of my own work done, otherwise I won’t be eating.

With that in mind, I have also purchased two new domains that I shall be using to actually earn some money. I am quite excited about it.
Basically, what this new money-making project of mine is doing is offering training courses to those who are interested in internet development. The first course being Photoshop. I plan to add GIMP training and WordPress as well as others, but Photoshop will do for now.
I am also going into deep levels of coding in order to make my very own WordPress plugins. This is for the main site, which my ‘students’ will log into to view course resources as well as ask for help and preview other courses they may be interested in.

Finally, a little side-note for those who have been redirected from NetDev Training. You’ve been sent here as the main site has not yet been completely finished. Hopefully it will be soon where you can view your course(s) and the other things mentioned above.

Cannot wait until I get doing what I want to do

Good news! I’m getting work done at college, and it is easier than I thought! All this pressure and worry wasn’t needed, but it is still a good motivationally strategy.

In either case, I’m about to launch the start of a new line of projects for myself. Hopefully they will be of some benefit to others and will lead somewhere spectacular!

Lots of work still to be done, but hey, at least I’ve found time to update this blog.
Shame I cannot decide on a domain name for the first website…

Later Days!

Just a quick update on what is happening.

College has taken it’s toll on me.
Basically, I am going to be focusing on college work for the next three months. Ergo, less time to do more interesting things.
This does not mean that I am going to stop doing all my work on the site; it just means that I will have less time. I probably will still work on my projects to relax myself.

Anyway, I digress. I missed March’s update. Why? No time.
Now, I will be working on the ‘Christ Blog’ project for a while yet. It has some interesting growth ideas, and I want to practise using sub-domains properly (I am having some trouble with redirects).
It all still good practise.

But yea… with that, and college work, I won’t get to do any of my games over Easter. Two weeks, which will probably be tied down to 3D Modelling and Projects (two modules/units for my course).
That, and also Bass

I’ve cleared my room out also, so I have more room to move – no clutter!
Why that is relevant, I don’t know.

To whet your appetite (yes, it’s ‘whet’), I’ll write up some of the projects I will be doing soon.

• ChristBlog: This will be a personal blog website that will be updated with news from the Christian community, as well as have a journal-like theme with the posts of the author.
• DigiVice: This is an old project of mine from last year that I originally started in flash. However, I soon learnt that ActionScript was not powerful enough to do what I wanted, and I have since decided to change the language to Java.
• Freelance Detective Agency: This will be another Java-based game where members can take the roles of 1920-30′s Americans. They can take part in organised crimes, or fight crime and for justice.
